Emergency Preparedness
The mission of the Glacier County Public Health Emergency Preparedness Program is to plan for and respond to public health emergency and disaster events with Glacier County.
Public Health Preparedness
Public Health emergencies disrupt hundreds of thousands of lives every year. The threat of infectious diseases can happen anytime. Public health emergencies come with vector-borne diseases, such as West Nile Virus, food borne illness like e. coli, and vaccine-resistant illness such as Tuberculosis, or an extremely virulent flu strain. Glacier County Health Department partners with other agencies to coordinate a response system for the well-being of the citizens of Glacier County.
